Frequently asked questions about KT-11 Instant

How do I take KT-11? 2 beads daily, swallowed directly or left to melt in your mouth. No water needed.

What is L. crispatus KT-11? A clinically researched, heat-inactivated strain of Lactobacillus crispatus, in other words a postbiotic. One portion (2 beads) contains 6 billion cells (CFU equivalent).

What is a postbiotic? A heat-inactivated bacterial strain. The bacterial cells are no longer alive; they have been gently killed. Their cell structures and surface proteins are recognised by the body.

What is the difference between a probiotic and a postbiotic? A probiotic contains live bacteria that have to survive the passage through the stomach and intestines. A postbiotic such as KT-11 contains the same type of bacteria in inactivated form and does not need to survive or multiply.

Why does it contain vitamin D3 and K2? Vitamin D contributes to the normal function of the immune system, and vitamin D and vitamin K contribute to the maintenance of normal bones. In this way, they complement the postbiotic L. crispatus KT-11 in a combination of postbiotic, vitamin D3 and K2.

Why MCT oil as a base? MCT oil improves the absorption of the fat-soluble vitamins D3 and K2 and serves as a stable carrier for the KT-11 strain.

Is KT-11 vegan? No, KT-11 contains gelatine as a coating agent. The active ingredients themselves are of non-animal origin.

What does KT-11 taste like? An intense, natural mint taste from levomenthol, sugar-free and without artificial flavours.
