Welcome to the Vykea micronutrient encyclopaedia. Here you will find a detailed, factual entry for every active ingredient in our products, covering the different forms and their availability, food sources, functions in the body, the health claims authorised in the EU, reference values and laboratory testing.

Our aim is to give you a reliable basis for understanding the ingredients in our products. The entries are intended as a reference work and do not replace medical advice.

Note: Questions about diagnosis, dosage for a confirmed deficiency or use in particular life situations should be left to a doctor.

The encyclopaedia currently comprises 13 entries. These are arranged in three groups: vitamins, minerals, and other substances such as Coenzyme Q10, omega-3 fatty acids and the postbiotic Lactobacillus crispatus KT-11. For each entry, you will find here the name of the active ingredient, the form used by Vykea and the products that contain it. Our products are Omnia All-In-One, D3K2 Instant, D3K2 Drops and KT-11 Instant.

How to use the encyclopaedia

Each entry follows the same structure: a short overview, the different forms of the active ingredient, food sources, functions in the body, the health claims authorised in the EU, reference values and daily requirements, possible signs of inadequate supply, interactions, and use in our products. We reproduce the authorised health claims in the official wording of EU Regulation 432/2012. No health claim is authorised in the EU for the postbiotic Lactobacillus crispatus KT-11; this active ingredient is therefore deliberately described in neutral terms.

Food supplements are not a substitute for a balanced, varied diet and a healthy lifestyle.
